The establishment of Casa Charlotte is an essential step which will enable Task Brasil to transfer the girls and their babies from Casa Jimmy's project. By doing so there will be more space available at Casa Jimmy for an extra young abandoned children aged 1-6.

The property was acquired thanks to grants received from Accenture, Ballymore and Hunter Hall Investments. The new house will enable the care to be extended to an additional 10 teenage mothers and children, increasing the number from 10 to 30 beneficiaries.

At Casa Charlotte, mothers and pregnant teenagers will also be provided with their own space to look after their babies adequately and to carry on with their income-generating skills. The girls will be supervised by dedicated youth workers who will help them get to grips with their roles as mothers as well as teaching them basic housekeeping and accounting.
They will be given access to education, sports and health care and others.
